The initial step is determining the community's needs, including recommendations of services that can be offered.
Development
The second step is the development of policy and operation manuals.
Hiring & Training
The third step is determining appropriate hires and conducting the necessary training to have an effective crisis intervention unit.
Audit
This is offered for departments who have a some of level of social services integration into the department. This reviews current programming, community needs, and includes recommendations.
Trainings & Presentations
Need training specific for the department or officers needs? This a customizable service which can include a variety of topics.
On-going Support
Need assistance on-going with programming? This service is available to ensure the department programming is running smoothly at all times.
Police Support Services
While serving the community is the top priority, officer wellness should not be overlooked. Assistance can include policy and services such as review and/or development of EAP programming, wellness programming, peer support, and/or mental referral list, etc.
One - Time Consultation
Customizable service to help with a specific area such as how to a handle a situation or stargazing planning. This is a one-time service that can be catered to addressing a need of the department.
Community Relations and Programming
Has your department been struggling with ways to connect with your community? This service assists with community engagement planning such as meet and greets, children interactions, community policing programming, educational programming, etc.
Mental Health & Social Service Programming
Services are offered to organizations who seek assistance with the development or reworking of their mental health and/or social service programming. This service is customized to fit the agency’s needs. Services can include assistance with the development of crisis services with or without the intention of assisting law enforcement.
